It’s our favorite day of the year! Welcome to Opening Weekend at Lake Compounce. Join us for family fun as America’s First Amusement Park begins its 180th year. Start your summer early at Opening Weekend!

Extend the fun and experience a one-of-a-kind family camping adventure! Offering a range of accommodations and exclusive facilities for its visitors to enjoy an adventurous getaway, the Lake Compounce Campground is the perfect family destination. See you at the campfire.

Crocodile Cove Opening Weekend

Keep it splashy in CT's Largest Water Park! Cool off in Bayou Bay, plunge down Storm Surge, or float the Croc-O-Nile. Relax & refuel with a Cabana or head on over to Nathan's for a world-famous hot dog.  

Kids Fest

It’s a Kids’ World at our annual Kids Fest Celebration. Enjoy pint-sized thrills, character meet-and-greets, delicious themed treats and so much more! Even better, Kids Fest is included with every 2026 Season Pass!

It’s a historic summer as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday during our 180th year with themed entertainment, festive food and beverage, and an iconic fireworks show over the lake lighting up the sky every Saturday night.

Celebrate summer’s best holiday at Lake Compounce! Soak up summer in CT’s Largest Water Park, hop on Boulder Dash and take a spin on Zoomer’s Gas ‘n Go. Then take in a fireworks spectacular over the lake Saturdays, July 3 - August 15.  

Drone Shows

August 21 & 22
Drones take to the skies over Lake Compounce every summer in a dazzling show of light and music. Help us design show by voting on one of the show’s formations.
