Sunday, June 22, 2008 - Trisport Media Half Marathon
Prepare for your personal best! The course is blazing fast with small rolling hills and each course is quick with a fast downhill finish. Enjoy beautiful views along the course and the dramatic finish at the gates of Lake Compounce. The event starts at 7am (not 8am, as was originally listed) in the Lake Compounce parking area and ends just before 11am when the park opens. Thursday, June 26, 2008 - WRCH's First Day of Summer Broadcast
Your favorite WRCH Lite 100.5 DJ's will be broadcasting live from the Lake, starting at 5:30am with Allan, Mike and Allison, followed by Joan Dillon, and winding down the day with Joe Hann.
Friday, June 27, 2008 - Fox 61 Meet & Greet
Come meet Logan Byrnes and Rebecca Stewart from Fox61 News. 11am - Noon near the Beach Shoppe.
Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Country 92.5 appearance
Bosh from the morning show will be here from 11am - 1pm.
Tuesday, July 1, 2008 - NASCAR #88, driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Come visit some of our "Hometown Heroes", soldiers of the local National Guard. AND have your picture taken with the NASCAR #88 National Guard Car, as driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Car will be on display from 11am - 3pm in the front plaza of the park.
Wednesday, July 2, 2008 - Lake Compounce book signing
Lynda Russell, author of Arcadia Publishing's 'Lake Compounce' will be here signing books, which can be purchased in our gift shop for $19.99.
Friday, July 4, 2008 - Independence Day Fireworks
Fireworks will light up the sky over the Lake in the evening, but come early and enjoy the rides. Sponsored in part by Burger King.
Saturday, July 5, 2008 - Appearance by Belle, from Thomaston Opera House's production of Beauty and the Beast

Please join Trisport Media in a triathalon to benefit the Jimmy V Foundation.
Event starts at
7:00am and consists of a
0.4 mile swim, 13 mile bike and 3.1 mile run.
